Drawing of a disc herniation in the human lumb...Image via WikipediaDecompression table, like the DRX9000 is a back pain relief equipment used to conduct a series of spinal decompression therapy. This equipment can provide pain relief by pressing the disc back into placement. This is basically accomplished by putting negative pressure instantly on the afflicted area of the spine. Many body pains associated with these spinal conditions can be relieved by simply the application of decompression therapy. Furthermore, individuals like this procedure, since it doesn't require surgery.

Patients typically undertake two steps in using this back pain relief equipment. Initial step would entail pulling the body. As a way to do this procedure, the patient is firmly strapped on to the table, while a pulling device slowly pulls the body, extending the spinal discs of the body. The stretching of the body generates a vacuum effect within the disc and this sucks the herniated or bulging portion back into place. The second step then helps offer oxygen and water into the discs to keep them strong.

Commonly, a healthy disc is sturdy and manageable because of the many nutrients that flow through it. However, in incidents of disc herniation or bulging disc, to name a few, the disc is likely to deteriorate as time passes, since nutrients are impeded.
